 SM ( top ) and RSM ( bottom ) Static Bar
The SM bar is a micro sized (3/8 inch square) static bar for lengths up to 6
feet. The bar is popular with machine builders because it fits into very tight spaces. Common applications include web processes, plastics, printing, and
packaging operations. The bar has a unique stainless steel emitter spring assembly which provides more ionizing points per inch for maximum ionization.
The SM bar comes with metal shielded cable to reduce EMI/RFI emissions and to allow the cable to mount directly against metal, such as a machine frame, without using standoffs.
The SM is also available with an integrated compressed air tube. That product, called the RSM, is depicted as the larger of the two bars in the above picture. It measures 0.41” x 0.75”.

Design Your SM Static Bar
It's easy to configure and order a Simco SM static bar to fit your requirements. They are available in 0.79”
increments starting with overall lengths from 1.97” with a single ionizing emitter pin up to 71.65” with 69.69” of
ionizing emitter pins. All SIMCO static bars are shipped with mounting brackets, high voltage cable and a
connecter to attach the cable to a SIMCO Power Supply. Standard shielded high voltage cable length is 5-ft.
Longer lengths can be made if required. We can also add a right angle cable exit to the bar to facilitate the cable run.
Simply select the overall length of the static bar you need, determine if additional cable length is required to reach
the power supply mounting location, and decide if the right angle cable exit is wanted. Then E-mail us or call C.C. Steven at 805-658-0207 and we’ll have one built for you!
