Product Description
Used with 8001iP and 8001KDT Static Bars the 8100 contains circuitry for monitoring the neutralizing bars, malfunction sensor circuit, and circuitry for remote power activation using a digital signal from a PLC master.
The 8100 Power Module
The 8100 POWER MODULE is a microprocessor-controlled solid state high voltage power supply based on the patented Virtual AC technology. The 8100 contains circuitry for monitoring the neutralizing bars, malfunction sensor circuit, and circuitry for remote power activation using a digital signal from a PLC master. The status LED indicator stays green when everything is okay, or changes to a flashing red in case of a malfunction. In addition to displaying the malfunction, the 8100 automatically disables high voltage when the neutralizer has an electrical malfunction. The 8100 uses 24VDC power which can be connected directly through the dedicated DC power jack or through the RJ11-6 combined communication and power receptacle. In addition to the RJ11-6 receptacle, terminal blocks are provided on the 8100 PCB. Universal high-voltage connectors in the 8100 are compatible with all Virtual AC 8001-series static neutralizing bars.
The 8100 Power Module Features

The Optional 8200 Manager module scans all the 8100 POWER MODULES in the multi-station system (from 1 to 9 8100 Power Modules) and displays the ion output and neutralizing current values for each individual station, as well as “Clean Bar” and “Fault” alarms. The alarm signals are also available for remote indicators. All or any individual neutralizers in the system can be turned on and off using the 8200 Manager keys, while all the neutralizers in the system can also be enabled or disabled remotely. The keys are also used for selecting the “Scan” or “View” mode, as well as for setting the clean bar alarm values for each station.
The 8200 Manager Features
- Services up to 9 8100 Power Modules
- Ion output and Neutralizing Current Displays for each station
- Clean Bar and Fault Alarms
- 24VDC Operation
