 XP-2 Static Bar
The XP-2 is UL listed for Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Group D Hazardous Locations and FM approved when used with a Simco XP167 or XP267 Power Supplies, which can be mounted within the hazardous area. The XP-2 is also approved for use with the N167 or N267 Power Supplies, which must be mounted outside the hazardous
area, in electrostatic finishing processes involving spray painting, dipping, coating, and liquid printing processes.
The XP-2 has 1/2" NPT male threads at the cable end of the bar for connection to rigid or flexible metal conduit
. All conduit runs are then sealed at the power supply enclosure. See the XP167 Power Supply dimensional drawing in the Power Supply section for conduit length allowances.

Design Your XP-2 Static Bar
It's easy to configure and order a Simco XP-2 static bar to fit your requirements. They are available in 3/4”
increments starting with overall lengths from 4.5” with a single ionizing emitter pin up to 142.5” with 138” of
ionizing emitter pins. All XP-2 static bars are shipped with high voltage cable and one EY X-proof fitting and
compound. Standard high voltage cable length is 10-ft. Longer lengths can be made if required.
Simply select the overall length of the static bar you need and determine if additional cable length is required to reach the power supply mounting location. Then E-mail us or call C.C. Steven at 805-658-0207 and we’ll have one built for you!
You must order a power supply to power the static bar if you do not already have one. We recommend the following models for the XP-2 Static Bar.
