74307430 Charging Unit

The 7430 Charging Bar is specially designed for the demands of the heavy-duty industrial applications.  Its body is made of a fiber-reinforced polymer for extra rigidity.  Ionizing electrodes in the 7430 bar are connected to the high voltage through resistors to prevent formation of arcs.  Tungsten electrodes are used in the bars for the most demanding applications requiring high charging current.

The 7430 bars with cost-effective stainless steel electrodes are another choice for users. Ionizing electrodes are spaced a little over 1/4” or 7 mm.  With that spacing, the charging current per linear inch is almost 20% higher than at the industry-standard 5-mm pin spacing.  All internal electrical components are encapsulated in a special resin.  The high voltage wire exits through the conduit fitting at the end of the bar.

A rib at the back of the bar which extends its full length is so strong that it can be used as a structural component for the bar mounting. Bars can be mounted using the holes in the rib.
