XP167 and XP267 Intrinsically Safe Static Eliminating Power Units

XP167 and XP267

The XP167 (120V) and XP267 (230V) are UL listed and FM approved for use in Class I, Division 1 and 2, Group D Hazardous Locations when used with XP-2 Static Bars,  XP-20F Blowers, and BlueBar HL.

The power supplies are equipped with an arc detection cutoff circuit with alarm capability. In the unlikely event that the static eliminator or cable should arc to ground, the arc detection circuit senses the short and shuts down the power supply within 40 milliseconds. The units include relay contacts that can be used to activate a remote visual or audio alarm and to trigger a PLC, for instance to shut down the line.

The XP Power Supplies can be mounted within the hazardous location in close proximity to the static eliminators, or mounted further away in accordance with the chart included in the dimensional drawing. The high voltage cable connecting an XP Power Supply to a static eliminator must be run in rigid or flexible metal conduit. All conduit runs are then sealed at the power supply enclosure.

We recommend that you call C.C. Steven at 805-658-0207 if you are not already familiar with installing and operating this equipment.

UL, CSA, CE and FM approved.
